Kavalaraina rests on the edge of the mountain, with incredible views to Agni Bay. Only a few families live here. It is a traditional village which dates back to the 1920's, with its houses built on different levels along the sharp cliff. This village is ideal for people who want to experience traditional village life & get away from everything.

At night the village remains peaceful, the few ferries crossing to or from Italy will entertain you as they slowly emerge from the dark. Enjoy the complete rest. Supermarkets and more organised resorts are a few kilometres away.

From this location you can tour the north east of the island, while Corfu Town is only 45 mins away. You will be on the edge of mount Pandokrator, with traditional villages to explore & fantastic views to the whole of the north. Agni, the bay on the root of the cliff, is becoming increasingly popular by Greeks and tourists who come to visit its famous fish tavernas. Due to the mountainous nature of the village, the location is not suited for the less mobile.
