We reserve the right to decline a booking request and will notify you accordingly. When you make a booking request with us our contract with you starts as soon as we confirm the booking request by e-mail.

DEPOSIT

INSURANCE
Please provide us with your policy number as soon as you arrange your cover.

PRICES
Unlike our competitors, we take pride in keeping things simple with our prices. So what you see in our panels is what you will pay for your reservation. The only supplements you will be required to pay are if you wish to tailor make your booking.

If you wish to tailor make your booking, you will see all extra elements of your booking separately. If you use extra facilities in resort, they will be paid locally, i.e. air-conditioning, safety deposit boxes, telephone, etc.

The price we will charge you is the price at the time of your booking. This will also be shown on your confirmation invoice (by email and/or post). Your personal booking price will not change unless we are faced with a rare situation where we are made to change it, for example due to governmental changes or because of a sharp increase in fuel prices. Even if this happens, we will absorb part of the cost ourselves (2%). To be fair to you, we will do the same if prices of such items go down sharply and the benefit is passed on to us (we will keep 2% and refund you the rest).

If the price increase is higher than 10% you will be entitled to cancel your holiday within 14 days of the day we let you know of the increase.

OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
Our liability to you is to provide the booking as we have advertised and confirmed it. We have taken all reasonable care to make sure that all services that make the booking are to the standard we described. However, as we plan and advertise our product so far in advance, circumstances can change, so we may need to make changes.

We rely on our suppliers for accurate details and use their information in good faith. We do not have direct control of our suppliers. We will let you know of any important changes to your booking immediately, however, we cannot be held responsible for matters beyond our control. Therefore we reserve the right to make changes to your booking at any time.

We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, sub-contractors and local agents whilst acting in the course of their employment. Although we do not control the day-to-day operation of our suppliers, we accept responsibility if it is proved that facilities or services which form part of the booking which we contract to provide are deficient. However, please bear in mind that in some countries local standards will not be the same as in the UK and it is not always within our control to impose our own standards.

We cannot be held liable to accept responsibility for death, bodily injury or illness caused on holiday unless it is proved that this is due to the negligence of our employees, agents, suppliers or sub-contractors acting in the course of their employment and this is brought to our attention in resort or within 3 months of your return from holiday. In the case of all claims arising from carriage by air or sea, liability and damages are limited in accordance with the relevant international conventions. All bookings are subject to the carriers conditions of carriage, some of which exclude or limit liability. Copies can be made available on request.

Our liability in any action (excluding that for personal injury, illness or death) will be limited to  the price paid by or on behalf of the person(s) affected in total.

In the event you suffer an accident, injury or illness whilst on holiday which is not connected with an arrangement made by us we will, in our discretion, offer help, guidance or any assistance which we consider appropriate provided you tell us and the supplier involved about your illness or injury whilst you are in resort.

Where we are found liable for loss of and/or damage to any luggage or personal possessions (including money) the maximum amount we will have to pay you and your party is £25 per person in total as you and your party are assumed to have taken out adequate travel insurance for your holiday.

If due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control pre-booked excursions or tours are not available during your holiday, our liability is limited to a refund of monies paid for such services.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL (Force Majeure)
There may be events beyond our control that may make us make a significant change to or cancel your booking, for example but not exclusive of, war, adverse weather, technical problems or other events beyond our control. If we are forced to make a significant change to or cancel your booking, we will offer you alternatives of the same or higher quality for the price you have paid. If you are not happy with our suggestions or if we cannot agree to an alternative, you are entitled to cancelling your booking and we will refund all the money you have already paid us, including your deposit. If we cancel, change or curtail your booking after your arrival as a result of events beyond our control, for example but not exclusive of, war, adverse weather, technical problems or other events beyond our control then no refund will be made. In any case where we have to change or cancel your booking before darrival as a result of events beyond our control we will not be liable to pay compensation but will refund money paid on the terms set out above.

SHOULD WE AMEND OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
In the unlikely event that we have to make a significant change to or cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of the circumstances giving rise to the significant change or cancellation together with our offer of alternative options. We will seek to find you a suitable alternative of a similar or higher standard, although if not possible we will offer a lower class of accommodation and refund the difference in price.

SIGNIFICANT CHANGE
We will consider a significant change one of the following:

The change of your accommodation to accommodation of similar quality in the same village

The change of your flight time by more than 12hrs, if you have purchased your flight by us

IF YOU MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING
If you decide to make changes to your booking, your lead name will have to let us know by email or in writing. For any change, we will charge you an administration fee of £30 per person.

Most airlines treats name changes as cancellations and impose extra charges which you will have to pay. If you make changes after an airline ticket has been issued, you may have to pay for the cancelled ticket and buy a new ticket at full cost.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
If you choose to chancel your booking, your lead name will need to send us an email or letter confirming this. The cancellation date will be the date we receive your email and the following charges will apply:

How long before your arrival date we receive your cancellation

Cancellation charge as % of total holiday price

56 days or more
 Deposit

55-29 days
 50% or deposit if greater

28-22 days
 70% or deposit if greater

21-15 days
 90% or deposit if greater

14-0days
 100%

Depending on the reason you have cancelled, you may be able to claim from your insurance company. Some accommodation is priced according to the number of people per room/accommodation. Therefore, if any of your party cancel, the price of the booking will be adjusted accordingly. You may find the cost per person increases if less people are travelling.

LOCAL STANDARDS, HEALTH & HYGIENE, SAFETY
Local businesses follow the laws and regulations of the country where they provide their services. Overseas safety standards are generally much lower than in the UK. We will, however, compensate you if one of our suppliers has not taken reasonable & due care in providing the service they have been contracted to provide. In order to receive any compensation from us, you must tell us about the problem immediately and while you are in resort.

Air & Sea Carriers will provide services as directed by international conventions & their liability is such as described in these.

OUR COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
We appreciate not everyone expects the same things from their holiday. If you have a complaint, please let us know immediately & while you are in resort. If you do not make us aware of any issues whilst in resort, we will not be able to deal with any compensation issues on your return to the UK.

If you are not happy with the decision made, please send a letter to us explaining your reasons. If any dispute arises between us, it will be governed by the law and jurisdiction of England and Wales.

IF YOU PURCHASE FLIGHTS BY US
We may change your airline or the airline may choose to change the aircraft at any time. If we do this, we will let you know immediately, however this will not count as significant change.

Any flight times shown on our website and your booking will be an indication of the flight time. The actual times will be shown on your flight ticket. You will not need to confirm your flights after you receive your flight details.
If at any time we need to change the flight time to a time different by more than 12 hours than what we indicated on our website, the section of these terms & conditions headed 'significant change' will apply.

AIRPORT CHECK IN TIME
Please check in for your outgoing flight 3 hours before your flight time. You cannot check-in or travel without your ticket.

BEING WELL WHILE TRAVELLING
If there is a condition that may affect your holiday please make sure your insurance company is aware of it. Also please let us know so that we can help you in case you fall ill.

It is now widely recognised that prolonged inactivity can aggravate Deep Vein Thrombosis. Travelling by air may cause such circulatory problems, so always talk to your doctor about its possible risks.

Greece is a relatively safe place to travel, but please make sure you are up to date with any inoculations you may be required to have before you travel.

Pregnant women should contact their doctor before travelling. If you are over 28weeks pregnant by your return date, you will need a medical certificate proving you are fit to fly. If you are over 32 weeks pregnant, you will not be able to fly. Please contact your airline for more details.

TRAVEL DELAYS
If there will be any delays on your outbound or return flight, these will be the liability of your airline. Although we may make arrangements to help you, we will not be liable for any compensation claimed due to such travel delay.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Passport, visa and health requirements are all your responsibility. You will need to make sure that you are updated with the specific requirements of your travel destination, as these requirements are constantly updated. Any costs incurred due to this will also be your responsibility.

A few things to remember:

Before you travel make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the date you return. Make sure all names on the airline tickets match those of the passports. If your name has changed from the time you have made the booking, you will have to let us know.
Keep a copy of your passport details separately, in case you lose your passport. This will help the British Consulate to issue another passport quicker.

It is important, if you have any medical condition or disability that may affect your holiday, that you make appropriate enquiries to make sure that the accommodation and area you are looking is suitable for you. Please make sure that you are fully satisfied that you have made the correct choice before you book and confirm your holiday.
The extra cost of any special arrangements will be passed on to you.

REPRESENTATIVES
Our local representative will visit your accommodation once a week. He/she will be able to help you if you need any information in the area, if you need to arrange trips or need any other help.

Also he/she, as well as your host or staff at the accommodation will be your point of contact in case of emergency, if you need urgent help. She will be easy to contact via your accommodation's reception or host, should our contact numbers not be clearly displayed. If you do not make us aware of any issues whilst in resort, we will not be able to deal with any compensation issues on your return to the UK.

GENERAL BEHAVIOUR
As a guest in another country, it is courteous to treat the local people and other travellers with respect. If you disrupt or cause distress, are considered to be dangerous, abusive or threatening during your flight, at your accommodation, to any people like staff or suppliers, or other travellers your holiday will (without compensation or refund to you) be stopped immediately and you may face civil or criminal charges in resort.

BEGINNING AND END OF SEASON
At the beginning and end of the summer, some of the restaurants and other local facilities mentioned may be closed. Also some accommodation may do some of their maintenance work during that time. We are unable to be more specific as this varies from year to year. Please ask us for further details if a specific facility will play a vital role to the enjoyment of your holiday.

FACILITIES OUTSIDE ACCOMMODATION
Beaches, the sea, roads and facilities around the accommodation have not been inspected and do not form part of the contract between us.

We will always do our best to let you know of any building work close to your accommodation, if time allows us to do so before your holiday.

BEACH SAFETY
Always familiarise yourself with local conditions, currents, etc. Always keep an eye on your children while on the beach.

PERSONAL SAFETY
Corfu is a relatively safe area, but like at home, please take care of your personal belongings and carry as little cash as possible at all times. If you lose or have something stolen while in resort, you will need to obtain a report from the local police in order to claim from your insurance company. Your local representative will be able to help you if something like this happens.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION
All self catering accommodation in Greece has facilities that are sufficient for preparing light meals. For example for 2 people the facilities will consist of 2 cooking rings, a mini-fridge & mini- oven. Most of our apartments have a kettle and a toaster. Such information is described specifically for each accommodation and photographs are provided.

CHILDREN'S AGE
We will only offer a child discount when 2 full paying adults occupy the room. Also the child will have to be younger than 12 by date of return flight. If you travel with infants (under 2 years of age by date of return flight), accommodation & transfers can be free.

Bed sharing is permitted for children whose combined age is less than 12yrs.

Please bring your own towels.

AIR CONDITIONING
Some properties have individual air conditioning units located in either the bedroom or the living area, allowing you to adjust the atmosphere to your own liking. In some descriptions we have indicated that there is centrally controlled air conditioning. This means it is centrally operated at the discretion of the management.

STAR RATINGS
We provide our own star rating for all our accommodation. We appreciate that not everyone has the same standards and expectations, but trust we are giving a fair account based on the information we have checked ourselves or been provided by our suppliers. We cannot be held responsible for guests not agreeing with our star ratings as they are only an indication of the standard of accommodation.

PAYMENTS
We have provided you with secure on-line payment service (SSL); however you may only use one credit card per transaction. If you wish to use multiple cards or other forms of payment, please call us on 0208 207 7356.

ELECTRICITY & WATER IN GREECE
There may be some power cuts while you are on holiday. They could be due to bad weather or other reasons. Most of these are beyond the accommodation's control and normally last a short period of time.
Water may also get cut off at times. Again this will be beyond the accommodation's control. If any warning is given, the accommodation will let you know.
Many hotels heat water from solar energy, so hot water may be cooler during the mornings.

SATELLITE TV
Satellite TV in Greece is different to the one in the UK, it may feature less channels. Also very few of these may be in English.

CAR HIRE
If you book car hire with us, you must sign the company's car hire agreement before you get your car. This then also becomes part of your agreement with us & the terms & conditions as set out here still apply.

DAMAGE
You will be liable for the damage or loss of any item from your accommodation. The accommodation owner may charge you to replace or repair the item.

DEPOSITS
Some accommodation owners may ask for a deposit on arrival.
